How much will my book critique cost?
Please contact me for a quote. My fee depends on the length of the material, and how much comment is required.
If you'd like me to look at your book again after the critique, I offer a 20% discount on the initial fee.
How do I pay?
First, contact me to discuss your project. Then, once you're happy to proceed, I'll issue you with an invoice and you can arrange payment.
I accept payment by cheque or direct bank transfer. I will supply details for payment when required.
When will you return my critique?
I return all book critiques within four weeks of receiving payment.
I also offer an express service if you need a faster turnaround. Please get in touch for more details.
Can you critique my book from a paper manuscript?
I'm happy to critique typed (not handwritten) manuscripts as well as MS Word files. If you post me a manuscript and want me to return it, I ask you to cover the postage costs.
Do you critique all genres of book?
Pretty much. The only books I don't critique are on technical subjects that I have no hope of following (think quantum physics or computer coding) and those which contain highly offensive material.
