Moving on from your book critique

I'm much more than a book critique specialist. I don't send over your completed book critique and then sit back and forget all about you. I want to see you make the very best of your book, and that may mean giving you a helping hand as you develop your writing.

One of the benefits of working with me is being able to tap into my wealth of experience in publishing – from ghostwriting to editing, proofreading to approaching publishers. My main website contains information on my range of writing, editing and proofreading services that can complement your book critique.

Getting a writer onboard

Sometimes you know what you want to say, but not how to say it. Other times you may have a great idea, but no clue how to organise your thoughts. As a published, professional writer I can help you write or rewrite your book. I can act as a ghostwriter, writing the book for you. I can help you write your own book, mentoring you through the writing process. Or I can take a book you've written and develop it with you.

Polishing your book

Once you've set down the bare bones of your book, you can start thinking about tidying up your writing style. Authors write books because they want people to read them. So with your audience in mind, you need to ensure your language is clear, flowing and consistent, your spelling is perfect and your grammar is correct. Depending on your existing skills, your book may need to be copy-edited and proofread by a professional. And that's where I come in.

Getting published

Every author's dream is to be published. I work with both aspiring and published writers, with authors who have been commissioned to write books and those without an agent or publisher onboard.

Based on my experience in the publishing industry, my book critiques offer solid advice on the suitability of your book for publication. If I believe you have a strong, marketable book, I'm happy to refer you to a colleague who specialises in creating proposals to take to publishers and agents.
